Baby Girly Girl Registry And Shower Gifts
Are you that excited couple having a baby girl and can't wait to dress up your little girly girl Princess? If so, congratulations on your new adventure!
Babies are so rewarding and you are about to experience some of the best days of your lives.
You have a lot to plan for your little one and may be in need of ideas to put on your baby registry for shower guests and far-away relatives? Or, are you looking for a perfect baby girl gift for the new arrival? Over the years I have been in both situations and have struggled to come up with ideas.
Shopping for infants and registering can be hard, and especially so for first-timers, so I have made a list of cute ideas and will plan to keep them updated regularly. Below, you will find the latest in baby girls' clothing, nursery décor and teethers.
I am the proud Grandma to a new grandchild, to me she is the sweetest little baby girl. Her mommy, my daughter, dresses her in cute girly outfits and accessories. She makes me smile and laugh when I see her. Of course, the baby's mommy and daddy were so excited to have her. The photos on this page are of my little granddaughter.
Are you looking forward to dressing your baby girl in sweet feminine attire? It's so fun dressing babies and toddlers up, you'll make people turn their heads and smile.
Shower Mother With Gifts For Her Baby Girl - Moms, Save Memories With Albums and Baby Prints.
Making memories for your baby girl with foot and hand prints and a memory album will later be such fun keepsakes to give her as she gets older.
As parents we always think at the time the photos are taken that we will remember everything about it, like all the firsts in our child's life and their cute and funny way with words. But remembering all those important milestones can be hard, especially for busy and sleep-deprived parents who can't remember what they had for breakfast the previous day. So why not save those precious memories, photos, and anecdotes in a journal, scrapbook, or photo album.
This book has pages to fill for days before the baby's arrival, and many for the first year, up to 5 years.
Make The New Baby Comfortable - Clothing that Makes Dressing The Little One Easier
Newborn Kimono Wear - It Is Stylish With Comfort.
This kimono style bodysuit is not only adorable but it is made of a comfortable, soft fabric and is easy to get on and off your newborn.
For Parents of a Newborn, Choose Baby Clothing Made For Easy Diaper Changing and Dressing Plus Comfort.
A baby's first days and months are spent with lots of sleeping, and feedings, and in between those events, diaper changes. Whether you are gift shopping, or adding items to your online baby registry, I will start with some ideas of babies' sleepwear designed for easy outfit and diaper changes.
In the middle of the night, if you are a sleep-deprived parent caring for your infant, you want nothing more than to get back to bed as quickly as possible. Right! You don't want to disturb the baby just dozing off after a feeding any more than necessary. Heaven forbid, your baby had a diaper blow-out, and you need to change sleepwear. But such an event is inevitable and can be handled quickly/efficiently if the baby is wearing the right attire.
- Kimono style sleepers with large necklines are convenient sleepers, causing less disturbance to a sleepy or hungry infant. Here's how they work: lay the sleeper flat open, and place the baby on top. Guide the baby's arm in one armhole, then the other, and snap the bottom. There's no pulling the shirt over the baby's head! You can sometimes buy them with long legs, if preferred.
- Footie Pants: These practical and comfortable pants with footies are a time saver (your little one won't constantly lose a sock she kicks off) so they will keep baby's twinkle toes warmer during cold months. They work well with the kimona style top shown above. Or use them over a onsie.
Onsies Made To Dress Baby Easily
- The easiest to use onesies: Onesies or bodysuits, have been around a long time, but some are made better than others. I like the ease of putting on a Onesie with lap shoulders, or a large neck opening. The neck stretches when putting it over the baby's head.
For t-shirts or sleepers with regular openings, try stretching the neck gently with your hands before dressing the baby.
Convenient Baby Sleepers
- Gown style sleepers are convenient for diaper changes, and those with cuffs to slip over your little newborn's hands helps them from scratching their face with their fingernails.
- Outfits and sleepers with side openings (snaps or zippers up the side) can be easier for dressing your little one than those with center openings. Buttons on the back of outfits made for sleeping can be uncomfortable. Make sure the tags are not scratchy on the outfits neckline, or remove them.
Be careful with any embellishments on baby clothes that may end up in the baby's mouth.
Keeping baby warm enough for the weather, and in soft comfortable outfits, should keep them content during naptime.
Do you think this gender typing influences babies' personality traits, interests, occupations later in life or do you think these are innate?
Does Gender Typing Influence Personality Later In Life? - Would you like to comment in the Nurture Vs. Nature Debate? It's just for fun!
"Do you know what you are having?" This is one of the most commonly asked questions of an expectant parent. "A baby" would be the most obvious answer, but what they really want to know is if you are having a boy or a girl. In our culture, gender identification is important and gender typing starts around 18-20 weeks - once the sex is determined.
Clothes, toys, décor and accessories are almost always categorized into one of two groups - male or female. It can be hard to find gender neutral items.
The Nurture Versus Nature debate continues in the field of psychology. Are a person's characteristics, values, behavior, etc. . . the result of Nurture or Nature?
Nurture has to do with personal experiences, your family environment, how you were brought up and what you learned.
Nature deals with your genes/genetics, inherited at birth.

Dressing Girls In Pink And Ruffles
Why dress your girl baby so girlish in pink as well as ruffles, rosettes, bows, and headbands? You may not be conscious of this reason, but, besides being so fun and stylish, your baby girl won't be mistaken for a boy.
I'm not saying baby boys are not cute. They really are and I love baby boys, too, but it's embarrassing for parents with a baby boy to have him mistaken for a girl and vice versa, right? It is an awkward moment for the person making the mistake, also. I've had a time or two of experiencing gender misidentification when seeing young babies for the first time. Have you?

She Will Look Pretty in Pink.
What comfortable apparel for baby to wear while hanging out with mom or meeting little friends at play group.
Baby Girls Look Cute In Pink But That's Not All
Baby girls don't have to wear pink all the time to look girlish. While I love to see baby girls in pink there are so many other colors to choose from as well as polka dots, cute patterns, stripes, and flowers.
Mix it up a little bit. Babies can still look like a girly girl in other colors, as my daughter shows, while holding her baby in this photo.
Teething toys are something great to have on hand and in my experience you can never have too many. My little grandbaby is teething early and is constantly looking for something to gnaw on. If your baby sees the teether as a cute toy to look at and chew on, it's a comfort to her.
Plan Ahead For Growth Spurts and Dressy Occasions
Wouldn't it be nice to have gifts in a toddler size for a while later. Many moms love to dress their girls up, so receiving shower gifts of clothing in a larger size to save a few months or a year for their growing baby are usually very welcome. I am a planner by nature and always liked to have larger outfits on hand for the random growth spurt. I know many moms are the same way.
In fact, some of the best gifts I received as a new mom were outfits in larger sizes that I put away for a later date. Going "shopping" for new clothes in the baby's drawer is a luxury for tired parents who don’t have time to take a trip to the mall.

Give A Gift of a Musical Mobile For The Baby Nursery -
Counting sheep, then off to dreamland with a lullaby:
This musical mobile may be a gentle way to put your baby to sleep. My granddaughter has this mobile in her nursery and often drifts off to sleep while watching the dancing sheep and listening to the calming tune of a Brahms lullaby.
