Best High Weight Limit Umbrella Strollers Of The Year
Top Of The Line Umbrella Strollers For Bigger Kids
When my wife was pregnant with our first child we didn't know a thing about strollers. We didn't know what was important and what would be annoying.
In the beginning we started with but we quickly started experimenting. We have owned full sized strollers and joggers but we found out to our surprise how much we love the ultra-light umbrella strollers. There are so small and lightweight that they are easy to tote around and use when you don't expect to need one. a car seat frame by Graco
For taller and heavier kids we've found that the cheaper and smaller umbrella style strollers simply don't cut it. You could buy something super cheap from your local Walmart but if you want something that's going to last until your child is done needing strollers then you need to be choosy.
Below is a list of the best umbrella strollers for bigger, older, and heavy toddlers. These are simply big, well made, and sturdy umbrella-style strollers. You can use them from birth all the way up to their weight limit, which is pretty high. In the case of this page most of these will last until you are embarrassed to have a child in a stroller - take that to mean you shouldn't have to replace these no matter how big your child gets. We're still using our's almost 3 years later.

Joovy Groove Umbrella Stroller
The Groove not only holds big kids but it looks good too... and my favorite part? It's way more affordable than it's direct competition. This model is a top seller for good reason.
Maclaren 2013 Triumph Stroller Dove/Jelly Bean
Like the Groove featured above this umbrella stroller will hold a child up to 55 pounds. The difference between this stroller and the Twist however is that it is an ultra-light and it hardly weighs anything itself. If you want something small and simple yet very tough and durable the Triumph is your best bet.
Inglesina 2013 Swift Stroller
If I were about to have another kid I would probably looking at this one the hardest. It has a very large under seat basket making it incredibly handy. There's nothing more annoying than having a cargo basket that isn't big enough to put anything in it.
The UPPAbaby 2013 G-Luxe Stroller
This is a perennial favorite among hard core baby gear guys. I'm not sure if it's because it's an ultra-premium or because it's just that good. It is more expensive than most others on this list but for good reason. I think I'd probably buy one of the others myself though.
The First Years Ignite Stroller
Of all the options listed here this is probably the most popular one on the list. It's also probably the most inexpensive too and it's the easiest to find in regular stores. Even still it holds big kids and scores great reviews from parents everywhere.
Need A Few More Options To Review?
I've always been a fan of the less common. The Ignite and the G-Luxe are well known and very common but the others are a bit more unique. I like that a lot. Of course size isn't everything though. My wife and I have found that features matters a lot too. The following pages look at various features that are important to many parents. I think they might be of interest to you too.
