Cheap Pack and Play Playyard in 2014

This playpen is 38 by 38 inches and has mesh sides for air ventilation. The set up was quite easy and it weighs about 25 pounds, which makes it easy to transport to the playground. If your child is 3 years and younger, I highly recommend getting a Graco to help you out throughout the day.

I own a Graco Totbloc Pack 'N Play Play Yard for my 2 year old son and I couldn't be happier. The playard is designed with bright colorful colors and comes with thick padding to keep your child safe. My son loves to play in it with his toys and even takes naps in it throughout the day.

Want something cheaper? More portable?

The Graco Pack 'N Play On the Go Travel Play Yard is a great option for parents who want to have a traveling playpen that is easy to carry around, and yet is sturdy and safe enough to cater to their child. This travel playard is slightly smaller than the Totbloc, and measures 40 by 28.5 by 29 inches. As a parent myself, I've always found it difficult to find to constantly holding my 3 year old in my arms. However, with this Travel Play Yard, I am able to give my arms a rest by allowing my son to safely be in his own little world.

The Joovy Room² Portable Playard is another great option and provides an alternative to the Graco TotBloc. The major difference between the two is that the Joovy Playard is slightly larger (41.9 x 31 x 39.8 inches) and is a bit heavier at 30.9 pounds. In terms of design, the Joovy looks less tacky with a cleaner and simpler design. I also own a Joovy and I've found it to be sturdier and safer for my older son who is 5 years old.

The Joovy also has enough room to place more than one baby at a time and it can be a great way to have your child interact with other children. If you are looking for something more spacious and sturdier than the Graco TotBloc, I highly recommend getting the Joovy Portable Playard.
