What do you do to stay in touch with your relatives?
I live far from many of my relatives and just want to hear some ways others work to stay in touch.
My brothers and I talk often (it varies, depending on which brother), and I am also blessed to talk with some cousins and my one remaining aunt, who is 96 and just gave up driving her car last year. I'm thankful we live in an era when we can call each other for practically nothing. It has closed the distance between us and kept us close across the miles.
I use my cell and facebook this works well for me its a great way to keep intouch and up to date alot of my friends live a long way away so I cant see them but I can talk to them text them and message them on my phone or facebook
I call, email or write letters to them. Usually I call, because it is faster to get a response from them rather than writing letters. My grandmother lives in India and doesn't have a computer in her home, therefore no means of email. I am suddenly feeling nostalgic and missing all of them. Good question.
Facebook is the main way for most of my family who are not close. Also weekly calls with my Nana, yearly visits and picnics with relatives further away. Email and text with others.
I use technology like webcam and iphone to stay in touch with close relatives. Facebook and emails is secondary. However, a letter is a special personal touch that always puts a smile on your face.
Visit, call, write to them (thank God for email, sms, facebook).
We call on cell phones, email and visit on Facebook. Some of us are closer than others but we still manage to keep in touch. It's so much easier now days with cell phones having free long distance and the internet.

How do you maintain relationships with long-distance friends? While technology has made keeping in touch with those friends from college a lot easier, it's still difficult to keep in touch. How do you maintain ties with friends who live far away?

Who do you call if you find an elderly loved one dead?I'm not trying to be morbid, but I will need to know eventually. It is a rural area with no coroner or hospital.

I really need help and I don't want to discuss this with my friends. Two months ago, I met someone on-line, yeap, that's what I said. I wasn't looking, it just happened. We began to chat and discovered we have tons of things in common and really, really liked each other. I feel that I...

We have all seen in the cinema how one or the other gave up a career or finishing their education for the significant other career. The drama is based on continuing that dream later in life and...
