I wanted to be a marine biologist and have an underwater laboratory.  Needless to say, I didn't do it, but I still retain an interest in marine life.

A mom, an author, and a corporate lawyer. Yes - I am a mom.  Yes, I have published works (even if just as a newspaper journalist); but would still like to see my devotionals and children's books in print.  No on the corporate lawyer.

I was dumb enough to want to be in the movies! Like your good self my childhood dream never came to anything either. But by the time I was in my early teens I'd thankfully managed to plant my feet a bit more firmly in reality.

I remember wanting to be a fireman initially, but that was only because my dad was one. Later on, I wanted to be a fighter pilot, but my hopes of achieving that were dashed when I grew beyond six feet, and failing geography at school.
