Child Friendly Fun Stuff to Do and See

Whether you live in CNY (Central New York) or just thinking of planning a visit to the Syracuse area; this lens is dedicated to spotlighting kid friendly places. Kids have venues and places to they like to go and meet other kids. Some places can be mentally and visually enriching, and some are just for kids just to be kids, and have fun. I created a list of some places for children to go play, see, and even learn in CNY. These are some places that as a parent I discovered, and wanted to share them with you. I hope you go and explore these cool places, and if you already have I hope you share it with your friends.

Indoor Playground and more

Winner of the Family Times best place for a party in 2011 and 2013; one of my family's personal favorite place to play. Located in Phoenix, NY it has a six thousand square foot area filled with fun. The area is filled with playground equipment, imagination areas( a bank, cafe, post office, restaurant, etc), and a pirate ship. The background walls are simply beautiful, as they are painted with different scenes, such as children playing. Books and toys for the kids to play with, and costumes for them to play pretend. Suited for children 8yrs and under. Pay only $8, and play all day. Or pay $10 to get a meal and play all day. For the adults there is free coffee and wifi. Memberships are available upon request. Sometimes if you check other deal sites you can find deal packages and other promotions from sites like Livingsocial, Groupon, and Sweetjack. They also have special events such as holiday parties, which sometimes feature "Bob the Bear", magicians, musicians, and more. They are available for parties too. My son was all grown up when I moved 3 hours north of Syracuse, but we sure enjoyed the Plainville Farm Restaurant in Cicero and miss it as we pass by now that it is closed.
