Advice for a Great Shower

Planning a shower can feel stressful, but don't lose sight of what's really important - close friends and family celebrating an exciting time. There really are only a few key things that need to be taken care of.

First, you'll want to pick a comfortable place to hold the event (family or friends house, local cafe, or even a park if the weather is nice) Coordinating some delicious food and drinks is a great idea as well, but you don't have to go crazy planning an intricate menu. Simple appetizers, sandwiches, salads, or pasta will go over great. Add in a few fun activities or games, and everything else will fall into place. Lastly, pick a theme to tie everything together. This should help make the food, decoration, and favor decisions a little easier as you can coordinate colors or design throughout.

What matters most is the people who attend. More than anything you plan, the fact that close friends and family are in attendance will make the shower a day to remember.
