Polka Dot Snuggles and Cuddles

Updated on July 3, 2014

Polka Dots - such a comfort

Welcome to my lense on Polka Dot Snuggles and Cuddles

Each of my three sons have had and loved their polka dot snuggle as infants. While this was many, many years ago now, my granddaughters too also love their polka dot snuggles and cuddles. This caused me to ponder on what it was about polka dots that have stood the test of time and span the generations.

Put simply - polka dots are a pattern that consist of an array of filled circles. Early polka dot patterns tended to be very uniformly spaced. However more modern patterns tend to be much more randomly spaced and even of varying sizes and color. But then, young children don't care about any of this... they just love the colors, the patterns, the soft comforting fabrics and the familiarity of these snuggles. I hope that you enjoy them too.

My kids think I'm a little dottie myself, but there is something really special about those multi-coloured and multi-sized spots...............
