Alll the fun of a real archaeological excavation without getting your hands dirty!

A short demo of Roman Town

Lots of info about Ancient Rome

It's awesome, my grandson Harley says. I want to be an archeoologist when I grow up!

The game gives information about archaeology and what field work involves, and this what has intrigued Harley. But Roman Town also gives tons of information about Ancient Rome.

Harley can understand what each artifact dug up in the game was used for and he particularly loves the virtual tours of the rooms he uncovers.

It's made an ancient civilisation in the year 79 real to him.

Dig it! Games

Roman Town is from Dig It! Games, a company founded by a professional archaeologist and teacher

In this simulated excavation, we experience a real dig site by allocating diggers and by choosing the tools those diggers will use, When you find something, you carefully clean away the dirt to uncover it and then click through a series of informational screens to learn more about this artifact.

The kids don't even realise that they're learning!.
