Stories from my son.
My son's stories
Having a child is the greatest gift from God (of course besides having a relationship with God). We have been blessed to have a son. Through out his life, I've been keeping a journal about the little things that he does and now that he knows more things and talks a lot more. I thought maybe it will be fun to share with others about the stories of my son.
Sometimes he will just makes you smile when you are most down but there are times he will also makes you quite berserk when he is in his "naughty" moods. In this page, I just want to share with you about the funny things that my son share about each day of his life. I may not have recorded everything down but enough to see glimpses of this little boy's mind. Hope you enjoy reading them!
quotes from my son
Sometimes my son will say funny things that will tickle our funny bones. I love recording these moments down and share with him time to time these wonderful memories. It is my way of showing my love to my son.
Just the other day, he said something that made us laugh..."Saya ada tikus!" (normally, he doesn't speaks in Bahasa but out of the blue he said something in Bahasa!) translated in English means, "I have a mouse!". I thought, mouse? Where? Then he showed us the "mouse" which we use for the computer! There are many other stories to share.
Hopefully, one day he will do the same but in his own special ways to record his sweet memories about his family.
Daily (almost) happenings...
I was about to get my son ready for school this morning but as he woke up he complained that he wasn't feeling well. Then I asked him, "How are you feeling? Do you have sort throat? Body ache?" He said, "Odd!" (or so I've heard) Then I continued, "So, you are not feeling "even" I see". Then he whine a little, "Mummy...I'm feeling hot! not odd!" Then I realised he is having slight fever. Hmm...I must be getting old, hearing problem...
My son said to me..."Mummy, do you know that there are wires in our body?" He continued, "You see, there are messages going through from my eyes to my nose and through my throat and into my stomach!" Hahaha...I thought what an interesting interpretation of how he thinks his body is like especially when he is still unwell.
Toys for boys
My son loves games. Sometimes, he would even make his own games from found items or objects such as bedsheets, pillows, blankets, bottles, bottle caps and etc. However, he also doesn't mind to have ready made toys for his amusement. As a middle class family, we won't be spending so much on toys but on necessities things for the household. Nonetheless, we as parents we will encourage our son to have delay gratification. Meaning, we will reward him only if he has been great with his attitude and character growth. Some of the toys listed below are my son's wishes but it may be variate from child to child basis.
Awesome books for kids and for the whole family too!
