Mom Life

Updated on June 13, 2017

Have you ever woke up, sat down and enjoyed a nice hot cup of coffee, and enjoyed the peace and quiet the morning brings? Then you get up, decide to take a shower, and BAM! There's a soft knock on the door, "Momma, good morning!" Little fingers suddenly appear under the door. "Hang on, let me get some clothes on. You can come in in a minute, ok..." Silence... Then yelling. Great both kids are up, there goes mom's bliss...you try to calm them down, bit it's too late they keep picking at eachother. Soon tears on the youngests face appear...this is going to be a great day! Oh the life of a mom! All you can do is laugh, if you don't you may end up crying. I wouldn't trade my boys for the world, but if they could just behave like dad's home all day just once. They are angels most of the time when he's home, he always says he doesn't know why I have such a hard time with them, they're fine when he's home. I think all kids have a special code to try to make mom's seem crazy, or feel inadequate. Anyone else agree, or experience the same thing? I know I'm not the only one. I also realize in some cases this may be the opposit for some families. Any dad's expierience this when mom's not home?

All in all I kind of enjoy it, it's not always crazy. I know some day (too soon) they will be grown up, move out, and I will miss the craziness. Honestly, I can't imagine how boring it'll be around here when they move out. Okay, let's not discuss that any further. Hahaha! I just started to feel a little emotional.

I'd appreciate it if you'd share your thoughts, and stories about your kids! So please comment! Have a great day!
