- 9oz of Taleggio cheese, diced
- 8floz or 1 cup of milk
- 1tbsp of butter
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- Fresh ground black pepper
- Fresh bread of your choosing
- A double boiler or a heatproof bowl
Place your diced Taleggio cheese in a bowl then add your milk and allow it to soak into your cheese for 2-3 hours. Then after 2-3 hours transfer your Taleggio cheese to a double boiler or a heat proof bowl and place it over a pan of simmering water. Next add your butter, eggs and cook them gently stirring from time to time until the cheese has melted into a smooth sauce with a consistency similar to custard. Then remove your cheese from the heat and season it with your fresh ground black pepper. Now transfer your cheese to a serving bowl and serve with your choice of bread!
