1-Plan your meals for a week.
The ingredients to be bought should be based on the meals to be cooked for the whole week. It is very necessary that before we start to cook the ingredients must be ready. Based on this plan the shopping should be planned. For example, If you plan to cook french fries then you must shop potatoes , appropriate spices and refined oil.
2- List out the ingredients to be bought.
Going out for grocery shopping without an elaborate list is like going to play cricket without a bat. You end up in a terrible situation buying unnecessary items and missing out the important ones.
It is the most important point . The amount of money to be spent on weekly grocery shopping is very much required. This prevents overspending and enhances saving.
4- Set your priorities.
While buying your items if you feel that you are exceeding your budget , immediately set your priorities. Buy the most important ones and leave out the insignificant ones.
