Fun Twist on a Pig in a Blanket

4th of July means picnics and parties galore! Be the star of your next family potluck with this creative recipe! It is simple and fun to make, and kids love it! It was a hit at our Memorial Day Picnic, and I'm bringing it back for the 4th!

Ingredients

  • Hotdogs
  • Prepared Breadstick Dough (we like Pillsbury)
  • Block of Cheese (chedder or similar)
  • Skewers
  • Mustard & Ketchup

Instructions

  1. Wrap the breadstick dough around individual hotdogs.
  2. Bake dough as directed.
  3. Skewer the finished hotdog and add a triangle of cheese on top.
  4. Stripe with condiments.
  5. Enjoy!
