Ingredients for a 5 Layer Taco Dip Recipe


This 5 layer dip recipe can be made for almost any occasions like: watching your favorite sports team on TV, baby showers, birthdays, teenager pajama-parties, romantic picnics, family picnics, and house-warming parties.

  1. Re-fried beans, canned
  2. Guacamole
  3. (optional) Corn, kernels
  4. Tomatoes, diced
  5. Cream cheese
  6. Black olives


When making the 5 layer dip recipe use a medium sized see-through clear bowl, the clear bowl will give the 5 layers of dip a more beautiful appearance. Begin spreading a layer of re-fried beans at the bottom of the bowl, (optional) and ½ teaspoon of chili powder spreaded over the re-fried beans. For your second layer; add guacamole, your third layer will be diced tomatoes canned; (optional) sprinkles cilantro leaves over the diced canned tomato layer. Include cream cheese as the fourth layer, (corn kernels are also optional as a layer). The final layer of the 5 layer dip is black olives.

Your dip recipe can be served in a large clear bowl or in individual mini-bowls. All the colors of the 5 layer dip are great to look at: green, brown, white, red, yellow, and black.

Re-fried beans - contain iron which is helpful for sending oxygen to the blood cells. Iron intake prevents skin from appearing pale if you're anemic. Pregnant women need iron for the baby growing inside of her and she needs it for herself to prevent fainting spells and dizziness.

Avocado (guacamole) - contains vitamin A and retinol which is good for preventing face wrinkles. Other nutrients in avocados help to prevent some cancers such as breast cancer and oral cancer. Vitamin E is also found in avocados which help decrease heart disease.

Corn - high in vitamin B which is good for reducing depression and vitamin B helps build a strong immune system. Corn has antioxidant properties that can help control diabetes, lower coronary heart problems, prevent birth-defects in pregnancies, and prevent constipation.

Tomatoes - high in lycopene which is an antioxidant that helps to fight off cancers, and lowers the chance of heart disease.

Black olives - contains iron and vitamin E, iron has oxygen-carrying proteins for red blood cells in the body. And vitamin E assists with preventing blog clots and coronary heart disease.

Another tip for the delicious 5 layer dip recipe is to add shredded Kraft's Mexican cheese, sprinkle a thin layer on top of the layered dip recipe. Enjoy this dip and chip treat, you can dip with any tortilla chip of you choice.

      Great, easy recipe. Better yet, use all fresh ingredients. And for sensitive folks....easy on the cilantro. Some people love cilantro, but for others (like me) it tastes like soap. Anyway, this dip is a great treat for most occasions.
