SAG Awards Featured Cocktail - Patron 22

In honor of the SAG Awards 22nd year, Patron has created a special cocktails for guests before, during and after the awards gala.

"The Screen Actors Guild Awards is the perfect venue to showcase Patron tequilas versatility," said Patron mixology manager David Alan. He helped create the featured cocktail is the Patron 22. It's prepared with 100% agave Patron Silver tequila. The cocktail has fresh lime juice to create a tartness and pineapple juice to offer a hint of sweetness. There is a small spoonful of organic sugar and splash of Fever Tree Club Soda. The rim is enhanced with red sugar and a fresh pinapple wedge is pierced with a wooden spear as a garnish.

1.5 oz. Patron Silver Tequila

2 oz. fresh pineapple juice

1 oz. fresh lime juice

.5 oz. organic sugar

1 oz. Fever Tree Club Soda

The Actor cocktail

Another Patron libation is The Actor made with Ratron Reposado tequila that is aged more than two months in oak barrels. It's enhanced with Patron Citronge liqueur, and fresh orange and lime juice.


1.5 oz. Patron Reposado Tequila

1 oz. Patron Citronge Lime Liqueur

4 oz. fresh orange juice

1 oz. Grenadine

A squeeze of fresh lime juice and an orange slice to garnish

Shake with ice. The longer you shake the colder the drink.

This cocktail is made with Ultimat Vodka. It's award worthy to all the nominees.


1.5 oz. Ultimat Vodka

1 oz. Patron Citronge Orange Liqueur

.5 oz. cranberry juice

.75 oz. fresh lime juice

.25 oz. Simple syrup

An orange Twist to garnish

Watching the Awards at Home

Make one or all of the above recipes. Raise a glass to toast to your favorite actor and actress. The Award show is on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 5 p.m.
