A Simple Chocolate Cake For Beginners
Baking Basic Moist Chocolate Cake
Take a bowl and add the following in it:
Flour – 2 cups
Sugar (grinded) – 2 cups
Cocoa powder (unsweetened) – 1 cups
Baking powder – 2 spoons
Baking soda – 1 spoon
Take a second bowl and add the following:
Eggs (beaten) – 2 eggs
Vanilla Extract – 1 teaspoon
Milk – 1 cup
Mix the ingredients of bowl one until all of them are evenly mixed up.
Mix the ingredients of bowl two until all of them are evenly mixed up.
Gradually add the dry mixture from bowl one into bowl two and keep mixing. When all of the dry mixture is in the wet one; keep mixing with a spatula for 20 minutes; or if you are not a patient person 5-10 minutes work just fine. ;)
After the batter is evened up add half a cup of boiling water to it. Don’t freak out; mixing it for about 5 minutes will bring back the right face of the batter.
Baking in oven: preheat for 20 minutes at 175. Then put the cake in for 35-40 minutes. The time can vary depending on the type of tray you are using (it can maybe go up to 50 plus minutes as well). Open the oven after 35 minutes and keep checking on your cake.
Baking in microwave: this cake can easily be made in a microwave. Put it in for 5-7 minutes; again depending on whatever kind of tray you are using. I’d recommend you keep checking with a toothpick after 5 minutes.
