How Often Do You Use Toasted Sesame Oil When Cooking Vegetables?
Secret Weapon Organic Asparagus Ratings
- 1 lb organic Asparagus Spears
- 2 small organic Sweet Chilis
- 3 small organic Garlic Cloves (or 2 large cloves)
- 4 thin slices fresh organic Ginger Root
- 1/2 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt
- 1/4 C water
- 1 teaspoon Soy Sauce (optional)
- Toasted Sesame Oil
Asparagus, Garlic, Ginger Root, Sweet Chili Peppers (all organic)
Step 1; The Garlic Chop
* 3 small Garlic Cloves
Peel & chop fine. (Garlic Presses are awesome.)
I find chopping garlic by hand to be soothing. I love the smell & taste & the fact that it's much more enjoyable than chopping onions in my opinion. I take advantage of the opportunity to chop garlic whenever my recipes call for it.
Save a Tear, Chop More Garlic. (Organic Preferred)
Step 2; Salt Your Garlic Chops
* 1/2 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt
Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of Coarse Sea Salt over your pile of Garlic chops.
With the knife blade push down flat (you will hear the salt crush as it infuses into the garlic.)
This step is half of my secret weapon in this recipe by infusing salt into your garlic while grinding your fine chops into a super-fine (flavor enhancing) garlic pulp.
*Secret Weapon Coarse Sea-Salt Sprinkle
... Salt & Blade your Chops.
... Palm Grind & Infuse Secret Flavor.
Step 3; Fresh (Organic) Ginger Root
* 4 thin slices of fresh (organic) Ginger Root
Peel skin from Root and slice into thin discs. For this recipe I used 4 disc slices. If you are a ginger fan like I am, you can most certainly add a few more slices!
Peel and Disk your Ginger Root
Step 4; Fresh Organic Sweet Chili Peppers
Gut Clean & Slice 3 small Sweet Chili Peppers
Step 5; your Toasted Sesame Oil.
*3 Teaspoons Toasted Sesame Oil
After all your veggies and goodies are cleaned, gutted, chopped, sliced, peeled, disked and infused, toss them all into your skillet with 3 teaspoons of Toasted Sesame Oil and Turn On Med High Heat to sautee before adding the Asparagus.
Step 6; Oil Your Skillet.
Step 7; Add Asparagus
Step 8; pour 1/4 cup water (Soy Sauce Optional)
Pour your 1/4 C cold water into the pan.
Allow Asparagus to tenderize and water to evaporate.

*if you choose to add 1 teaspoon of Soy Sauce to the 1/4 Cup of Water. - (optional)
