Stephen P Signorelli has been air frying for a long time and even once air fried Pop Tarts.

Who the heck needs Burger King!!

Today my air fryer friends, I present another quick, inexpensive, healthy, and tasty mmmm mmmm good recipe for your air fryer:

Onion stuffed burgers with garlic!

Oh so you don't find me visually appealing do you!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Oh so you don't find me visually appealing do you!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Ingredients assemble!!

This is a simple simple recipe that does not call for much prep work or time. As a matter of fact, this is true with the vast majority of air fryer recipes, which is why more and more people every day are taking advantage of all the wonderful health benefits and ease of use that an air fryer can bring them!

So our ingredient list is as follows:

One air fryer

Ground beef (either already formed into patties or not)

One fresh white onion (or any other type of onion)

Garlic powder

Olive oil

Kosher salt.

Here's the beef!!!!
Here's the beef!!!!

Now, you CAN substitute beef with anything really: ground turkey, ostrich, buffalo, bison, whatever. Just make sure it is YOUR choice and not that of your crazy significant other who is on some new eating fad this week because she saw it on Ellen and her pixie haircut friend from Yoga swear it will clean her bowels out.

Pick out a small sized onion. It can be a white or red onion, or whatever kind of onion you want. Again, it has to be an ONION and not an avocado because pixie haircut Stacey from Yoga told your significant other that avocados balance your inner Chi and that she should eat more of them as it will "cleanse her aura".

Once I drunkenly mistook this for baby powder. It's good I have no kids.

Get some garlic powder. I know I know, fresh garlic is da bomb BUT for THIS particular recipe, you need garlic powder for the sprinkle capability and NOT because pixie haircut I am going through a crisis Stacey from Yoga told your extremely gullible significant other that the reason I like so much garlic is because I think my better half is a vampire and that she should run away with Stacey to Burning Man and get matching Indigo Girls tattoos.

And of course, Kosher salt and Extra Virgin Olive Oil...which BTW has NO religious or sexual meanings or overtones despite what certain identity crisis inflicted yoga nut named Stacey keep hinting at so much that it caused a certain someone to block her on Instagram and Facebook and confess to me that she always thought Stacey was a lunatic anyway.

Building the perfect burger

So take a butter knife and create circular grooves in the burger patty. Cut your onion and insert the rings into the grooves you just cut. Be gentle, because you do NOT want to press all the way through to the other side of the patty. After they are inserted INTO the patty, spray it with olive oil. Sprinkle as much garlic as you wish all over the patty. LIGHTLY dust with the Kosher salt.

Now, cut some more onion up and place the rings directly on top of the patty. The result should look like something in the picture above.

into the air fryer!

Cook it! Cook it real good!

Place the burgers into the air fryer container. Set the air fryer to "air fry" and the heat to 375 degrees for a time of 11 minutes.

Now, this makes medium rare burgers the way I like. If you like your burgers cooked more, set the time to 13 minutes. Keep experimenting until you get the time you feel comfortable with.

Hit START and go make some ice tea.

Eat it!!!

When your air fryer beeps, open the container and behold the awesome onion goodness!

A couple of Kosher pickles and a tall glass of ice tea, some ketchup if you want, and you have just made the best and easiest air fryer onion stuffed hamburgers with garlic on the face of the planet. Sit back and enjoy and remember to chew at least 100 times per bite!

Quick, simple, inexpensive, and tasty! This air fryer onion stuffed hamburgers with garlic recipe will delight even the most foodie of your family.

As always, post comments and let me know if you tried it and what you thought!

Thank you for reading and have a great day!
