Amazingly Moist Dessert Cake

This recipe has been made in my family for many years and it is the most succulent, moist cake I have ever eaten! My dad asks for it every year for his birthda! It is inexpensive and very easy to make, you will not be disappointed!! Give it a try and tell me what you thought or what you changed! Happy Baking!!

Yields: 12 squares


  • 1 cup Butter or Margarine
  • 1 1/2 Cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • Dash Salt
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. Take butter, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon and cut in butter until crumbly. Set half of mixture aside.
  3. Take half of mixture and add egg, milk, baking soda and salt. Pour into prepared pan.
  4. Sprinkle top with other half of mixture. Then sprinkle on chocolate chips.
