How to Make Bitter Melon Smoothies

Ingredients and Directions


2 Bitter Melons (Seeded and Cut into small chunks)

1 Medium Mango (Peeled, seeded and cut into chunks)

1 Medium Apple (Seeded and cut into chunks)

1 Tablespoon of Honey

Combine all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

      Just tried it, it tastes better than it sounds. I also tried it with 2 apples, honey, bitter melons, pinch of cinnamon, blue berries & protein powder - it turned out great.

      Hi Cheryl,

      One person who recently commented on my bitter melon hub suggested to slice and salt the bitter melon. After a while rinse it and then proceed with however it is being used. Supposedly that helps remove some of the bitter taste. Thought you might wish to give it a try.
