Apple Cheese Quesadillas

Updated on March 6, 2013

Easy and so Good

Well you will need :

two tortillas ( your choice of flavor) style

A fresh apple (home grown are so good). Granny Smith

Cheese ( whatever white cheese you like) or cheddar

Some butter or olive oil

sugar and cinnamon mixture

Cut up your apples, and make your mixture of cinnamon and sugar. You can add lemon juice to keep the apples from turning brown.

Heat up your pan with the butter/oil or a mixture of both(which I do, the butter gives great flavor and the olive oil doesn't get too hot.)

Place one tortilla in the pan with some cheese on it and some of the apples you have peeled and sliced thin. Then add a bit of the sugar-cinnamon and place the another tortilla on top. Brown well and carefully turn over and brown the other side.

I sometimes add some of the mixture on top after I take it out of the pan. This is more of a dessert than anything. You could even add whipped cream...Ice cream... or chocolate shavings...nuts...go for it..It is the Holidays.
