Review

So first off as I wrote in the disclaimer: "I received a BINGONE Set of 4 Silicone Mold Ice Ball Tray for in exchange only for my honest unbiased review of the product." The product arrived to me in perfect condition without damage. While these BINGONE Set of 4 death star ice molds can be used as chocolate molds I have yet to do so. I have only used them to create ice so far. After I cleaned the BINGONE Set of 4 death star ice molds I filled them with water through the small hole in the top and froze them. While it was easy to fit water through the small whole I'm not sure how you would do it with chocolate without making a big mess. The only thin I can think of would be to do each half separately (with the whole plugged) and then attach them together with some melted chocolate.

Anyway back to the ice cubes that I made with the BINGONE Set of 4 death star ice molds. I took one out after it had been in the freezer for four hours because the top looked frozen, however when I opened it I found that the middle was not frozen and I ended up soaked. Word of advise always open these over the sink. The three that I did not remove were fully frozen four hours later. So these can take about eight hours to fully freeze (I did not check them every hour though so it could be less). When it came time to remove them I found that removal can be a bit tough. I ended up having to use a butter knife to dig these out. The top of the mold pops off easily it is the bottom that is hard to remove.

The ice death stars came out great I could see all the little lines including the unfinished section of the death star from the movie. Overall this would be a good item for any adult who is looking for a conversation starter or a cool party piece. Just keep in mind this would not be a good item for a child because a young child would be unable to remove the ice from the mold.
