In the beginning......

I'm a girl who LOVES to cook. I enjoy finding new and easy to make recipes. Problem is, I don't cook to much anymore. Simply for the fact that I live with the bunch of pickiest eaters around. Therefore, I just don't put the time and effort into baking or cooking. That is.....until I found Pinterest. And it's become my friend! I love finding so many recipes that my family will love. And to top it off they are SO easy to make. So I'm going to introduce you to something I made for brunch this afternoon that my nephews gobbled right up!

What you will need to make this delicious brunch/breakfast

1 can of crescent rolls (8-12 oz)

If you want to use bacon you will need: 8 slices of bacon cut up and pre-fried

If you want to use sausage you will need about 1/2 a package of your choice sausage (I used sausage patties because it is what I had on hand and my bacon was frozen)

4-6 eggs scrambled (which means you cook them first)

1/2 cup of finely shredded cheddar cheese (I didn't have cheddar on hand so I used mozzarella cheese)

1 additional egg beaten (not pre cooked) and set aside

How do you make it? Well let me tell you!

Well first and foremost you are going to want to pre-heat your oven to a whopping 350 degrees. While your oven is pre-heating you are going to want to cook your meats. Be it bacon or sausage, make sure they are thoroughly cooked and crumbled. Next is the 4-6 eggs...scramble them good! I set the sausage I used and the eggs aside on a separate plate and got to work on the croissants! I'll be the first to admit that I'm HORRIBLE at rolling and un-rolling croissants, so this was a chore for me! When you manage to untangle the masses of croissants lay them out flat on a work surface big enough for them. Load into the croissants your bacon or sausage then your scrambled eggs and then your choice of cheese. (you do not HAVE to use cheddar) Then comes the tricky part, folding them up! Yup it's now time for that important part.....Loosely roll up those crescent rolls and place them in a ungreased baking dish. Once you have all your croissants loaded with your mixture and placed in your pan you will want to take the un-scrambled egg and baste the top of your croissants. By now your oven is going to be very warm and the pre-heat done! So pop them in the oven and in about 20 minutes or so you will have a delicious breakfast or brunch or heck maybe you will even wanna make them for dinner one night! I hope my directions were pretty straightforward on this one! Enjoy!
