Basic Hot Sauce
- 100 mL White Vinegar
- 100 mL Water
- 12 tsp (1/4 cup) Cayenne Powder
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
Don't expect anything labor-intensive. This method is very quick and easy. For a milder sauce, substitute Paprika for some of the Cayenne.

- Using a funnel, pour vinegar into hot sauce bottle/container.
- Add powdered ingredients through the funnel, allowing them to fall into the vinegar.
- Add remaining water. Seal container and shake vigorously to combine ingredients.
This recipe yields around 225 mL (or so) of finished sauce. It'll require no refrigeration, since the ingredients used are non-perishable. Use a resealable container like a small mason jar or an old bottle from store-bought hot sauce.
