Best Japanese Restaurants on Oahu

Updated on July 18, 2012

That's what you'll hear when you step into just about any Japanese restaurant on Oahu - "Irasshaimase," or "Welcome!"

And Oahu is fortunate to be the home of numerous Japanese restaurants that make you feel just that - welcome, through their friendly customer service and oishii (delicious) food.

Whether you're craving fresh Sashimi, a variety of Sushi, flavorful Soba, crispy Tempura, or savory Katsus, check out the restaurants below, which are just a few of the many great Japanese restaurants on Oahu.

While dining at the restaurant, if you happen to see the silver-haired owner, Kuni, ask him to do his special magic trick that involves a cup of water.

My favorite is the Gyotaku. I would love some of that chicken, salad, and miso soup. I am now very hungry so I may have to go find something so satisfy my cravings for this food. Such an interesting hub.
