You will have to preheat the oven at 350 degrees F. beforehand. Meanwhile, mix the baking soda, salt and cocoa powder in a bowl and then beat the sugar and butter in a large bowl using an electric mixer for 5 minutes while adding in the eggs. The next step in order to bake the red velvet cupcakes is to add the milk, sour cream, vanilla and food color, mixing in the flour as well.
The last step for the red velvet cupcakes is to put them into 30 muffin cups, leaving 1/3 of each cup unfilled.
