In the past decade, numerous Thai restaurants have popped up all over Oahu to the delight of many who wish to dine on spicy curries, crispy spring rolls, savory pad thais, and sticky rice.

Here is just a handful of Thai restaurants on Oahu that have gained a loyal following because of their delicious Thai dishes.

After receiving numerous awards for their flavorful Thai dishes since it opened in the late 1990s, it's no surprise that Phuket Thai has expanded to three locations on Oahu to satisfy the cravings of those who wish to dine on Thai food from around the island.

Traditional Thai dishes are obviously popular, as customers frequently will be found dining on Spring Rolls (Poh Pia), Red Curry (Kaeng Phet Daeng), Thai Fried Noodles (Paht Thai), or Pineapple Fried Rice (Kao Paht Sapparot).

Phuket Thai also offers numerous specialties, such as Thai Crispy Fried Chicken (Tod Krob), Seafood in Spicy Lemon Grass Sauce (Ta-Lay Rad Prik), and Crab Legs (Paht Pu Tao Chiew).

Ever since it opened in 2006, Souvaly Thai Cuisine has gained a loyal customer base, as people from around the island will drive to Pearl City to dine on their tasty dishes.

Upon entering, guests are greeted by friendly staff members as well as a lovely fountain (Souvaly means "Flowing Water").

Guests can start off with one of numerous appetizers, such as Angel Wings (Peek Kia Yat Sai) - chicken wings stuffed with vegetables and rice noodles, Dancing Calamari (Pia Meak Tod), or Tender Baby Back Ribs (Si Kong Moo Yang).

Entrees are plentiful as well. Choose from a variety of Curries, Noodles and Seafood dishes.

Thai Village has three locations - two in central Oahu and one in downtown, making it a popular spot for residents island-wide to enjoy a fantastic Thai meal.

Traditional Thai fare is plentiful, as guests can dine on Spring Rolls or Summer Rolls, Papaya or Cucumber Salad, Panang or Green Curry, Pad Thai, or Pineapple Fried Rice.

      What a wonderful this is. I love Asian food; Chinese food is one of my personal favorites. I visited Oahu back in 2000 (due for a re-visit, I'm sure) and was impressed with all the array of Asian cuisines: Japanese, Thai, Korean and of course Chinese. Thanks for this wonderful hub.
