This recipe for Blueberry Syrup is great for breakfast served on waffles or pancakes. It can also be used for dessert on ice cream or pie! Yuuummm!
You can use fresh blueberries but I personally use frozen. They stay fresh and I always have them on hand when I get a craving for them. They are also very cost efficient. Just leave them out for a few minutes to thaw before cooking.

- 1 cup Blueberries
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Water
- Add all ingredients to a small sauce pan
- Heat to a boil
- Stir until the sauce thickens, about 10-15 minutes
- Most blueberrues will stay whole but soft
- Best used warm
