About the Author

Pacific Northwest Wining and Dining author Braiden Rex- Johnson has been writing about food and wine of this region for many years. She writes a food and wine paring column for Wine Press Norhtwest and contributes to the Seattle Times and Pacific Northwest magazine frequently. She has written for many other publications and is also the author of the Pike Place Market book series. Additionally, Rex-Johnson holds memberships in the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) and the Seattle chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier International (LDEI). She also serves as a judge for the James Beard Foundation.

    Interesting review - I can imagine myself getting this book and preparing the recipes and have people at an elegnant dinner party raving over the prepared dishes. The relaxing with a glass of wine and the satisfaction of being a dinner party hero.
