Bowtie Primavera
This recipe is one of my favorite because you can make a complete meal and get the veggies you need as well still enjoy pasta with a little less guilt. I use bowtie pasta but, really you can use your favorite pasta noodles. Also you can make this recipe with seasonal veggies to make this a amazing and fresh dish.

- 1 box bowties
- 4Tbs olive oil
- 1 bunch asparagus, diced
- 1 large zucchini, diced
- 1 12oz. jar artichokes, rough chopped
- 1 large summer squash, diced
- 1 jar favorite alfredo sauce
- salt and peper to taste
- 1 Tbs basil, torn
- Bring a large pot of water to boil.
- In a large skillet saute your asparagus, artichokes, summer squash, zucchini in olive oil for 3-4 minutes or until tender.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add Alfredo sauce and 1/2 jar of water, and bring it to a simmer.
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Drain the pasta and toss with the sauce mixture.
- Remove from the heat and add basil and toss well to combine.
- Serve.
