Breading With Panko Bread Crumbs

If you love to a add a breading to your meat or vegetables then you need to start breading with panko bread crumbs, panko bread crumbs are a flakier type of bread crumb that are much crispier than normal bread crumbs and they are much more healthier also because they hold less oil than any other bread crumb on the market today.

Panko is a Japanese bread crumb that can be used for breading any type of beef, pork, poultry, seafood even vegetables and can also be used as a topping for soups, casseroles even salads there is so much you can do with this great product.

Today I want to share with you a recipe for Panko Crusted Salmon its really super simple to prepare and great tasting also so please follow me on this panko breading journey that I know you will love.

''Panko Crusted Salmon''

4 boneless salmon fillets about 4-5 ounces each

2/3 cups of panko bread crumbs

2 teaspoons of tarragon flakes

1 teaspoon of ground basil

5 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon of honey mustard

1 tablespoon of mayonnaise

1/3 teaspoon of salt

1/3 teaspoon of ground smoked black pepper

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees, Line a baking sheet with foil

Place the panko bread crumbs in a large bowl and add the tarragon, basil, the and olive oil and mix well set to the side.

Take your salmon and add the salt and smoked pepper on all sides of the salmon and place the salmon on the foil lined baking sheet.

Take and combine the mayonnaise and mustard mix well then spread the mixture on top on the salmon then add the bread crumb mixture on top of the salmon then place the salmon in the oven and bake for to 13 to 15 minutes or until the salmon is firm to the touch or flake easy .......Lest rest for a minute then serve and enjoy.
