Psst...Candlewyck Bar and Grill

Buckingham, Pennsylvania has many qualities. There are beautiful natural resources in Buckingham. It is a great place for walking, fishing and even picnicking. It is even a better place for finding great antiques.

I found this place by accident at Route 202 and 413, a place for probably the most delicious fried chicken in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It is unexpected because I was not really hungry. I did, however, want something to fill a need, something to rid myself of exhaustion.

I came upon Candlewyck Bar and Grill. I would purchase both coffee and three pieces of their fine chicken; a breast, a thigh and leg. I only would purchase the chicken because I was told it was the best chicken in the area.

I immediately felt a need to take on this Candlewyck Challenge. The best fried chicken in the area, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is a huge area. It must be great chicken.

The best chicken required research. Where online could you find evidence of Candlewyck Bar and Grill's fried chicken?

While I have found sparse information on the Candlewyck Bar and Grill, I did find information on a place once known as Candlewyck Lounge. There is some information on their fried chicken, at City Search..com at http://national.citysearch.com/profile/8888131/buckingham_pa/candlewyck_lounge.html.

It clearly indicates here at Menupix.com, at http://www.menupix.com/menudirectory/menu.php?id=3803720, that Candlewyck Lounge has become Candlewyck Bar and Grill.

The title of best chicken locally sounds good, so far, but the true test is an actual taste test. Easily the coffee, is strong, not bitter, with the right amount of cream and sugar holds up and can perk up any individual.

The actual fried chicken is crisp and has the right amount of both salt and spice to it. The chicken tastes extremely fresh, it seems farm fresh. The chicken is not greasy, it is not heavy and is very satisfying.

I understand the title of best, so far it belongs to Candlewyck Bar and Grill. Along with the chicken, Candlewyck Bar and Grill, carries a variety of sandwiches, wraps, burgers and entrees.

Along with this assortment of food, Candlewyck Bar and Grill carries many different kinds of beer and flavorful alcoholic beverages. The place is clean, spacious and the staff is friendly. I am very thankful to have found Candlewyck Bar and Grill. I hope you can happen upon it too.

You can also visit their Facebook page, at https://www.facebook.com/CandlewyckBarandGrill, and tell them about their establishment.
