I Love The Concept - Cupcakes Move Over

While strolling a local outdoor mall, my hubbie and I stumbled on NOTHING BUNDT CAKES! A small shop hedged in between a chocolate shop and a sandwich shop, this undiscovered goldmine sits brilliantly displaying its wares - bundt cakes. Lots of them! There are small colorful bundt cakes of different flavors called bundtinis. The middle sized version serves eight people and the larger version feeds more.

Flavors include Chocolate Chocolate Chip, White White Chocolate, Red Velvet, White Chocolate Raspberry, Carrot, Lemon, Marble, Pecan Praline, Cinnamon Swirl, and a Flavor of the Month. The flavor this month is pumpkin, my favorite. We purchased a bundtinis to share. A customer waiting to place her order said that we had better watch out because they are addicting! She told us she was there to order every weekend! Can you spell addiction?

We tried the Cinnamon Swirl flavor, iced with cream cheese frosting. It was delicious and light! I am considering Pumpkin for our family Thanksgiving celebrations.

Try It - You'll Like It!

You can find Nothing Bundt Cakes at 1335 E. Whitestone Blvd, #S-170, in Cedar Park, Texas. You can order online at They will ship anywhere in the country.

The bundt cakes can be ordered with decorations for a birthday, anniversary, or anything other special occasion. Toppings vary with the cake selections. One of their slogans is "So yummy, you'll wish it didn't have a hole".

According to their brochure, franchising opportunities are available. For information regarding a franchise, go to their website.

The Frosting is Delicious

There are two ways to order the frosting. One is a Drizzle and the other is their Signature. The signature frosting is made with real butter and cream cheese. The drizzle is a lighter frosting.

With ten flavors and forty plus designs, it seems this shop is marked for success. Cupcakes beware! The cheerful atmosphere in the shop and the colorful displays are a draw for any customer. When you come to Austin, Texas, you'll have to visit! Until then, order one online!

I haven't baked one of these since I married my current husband. A very selective palette and only eats chocolate, or yellow cake with white frosting. I'll be visiting family in L.A. next month and this is a great idea for one of the cakes. Thanks so much

I love bundt cakes. One of the funniest things I have ever saw with a bundt cake was in the move My Big Fat Greek Wedding when the guys parents came to a party at the girls house and the guy's mother brought a bundt cake. Great post. I will stop in when I am in the area.

Pardon my ignorance but I had never heard of them before, and me a self confessed 'Foodie' with a capital F

Of course now I'll have to try one, that's if I can find one this side of the pond !
