Wash, peel and chop two big potatoes into 1 cm cubes. Peel and chop four big onions and 2 medium sized carrots, each into big pieces and 1 cm cubes, respectively. Chop 2 bell peppers into big pieces. Cut out the florets of a big cauliflower. Wash the cauliflower in warm salt water.
Take a frying pan and fill it with oil. When the oil is heated properly deep fry all the vegetables one by one, till they turn golden brown.
Take a pan and add 1 teaspoon of oil in it. Add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds to the oil and let them crackle. Then add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, salt and red chili powder to taste.
You can add any other spices you wish to add but there is no requirement, the dish will taste delicious as it is.
