Cauliflower and Veg Fry

Yields: Serves 3 people
Ingredients
- 2 big potatoes
- 4 big onions
- 2 medium sized carrots
- 2 bell peppers
- 1 big cauliflower
- 3 cup oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- to taste salt
- to taste red chilli powder
How to Make Fried Mixed Vegetables
- Wash, peel and chop two big potatoes into 1 cm cubes. Peel and chop four big onions and 2 medium sized carrots, each into big pieces and 1 cm cubes, respectively. Chop 2 bell peppers into big pieces. Cut out the florets of a big cauliflower. Wash the cauliflower in warm salt water.
- Take a frying pan and fill it with oil. When the oil is heated properly deep fry all the vegetables one by one, till they turn golden brown.
- Take a pan and add 1 teaspoon of oil in it. Add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds to the oil and let them crackle. Then add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, salt and red chili powder to taste.
- You can add any other spices you wish to add but there is no requirement, the dish will taste delicious as it is.
