Simple and easy

The directions for this recipe are easy to follow and quick to prepare. This is for a busy family that doesn't have a lot time to spend in the kitchen.

Cook time: 45 min
Ready in: 1 hour 10 min
Yields: Serves 4


  • 4 Chicken breast, Substitute with can chicken
  • 1 can Cream of chicken
  • 1 can Cream of potato
  • 1 cup Self rising flour
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 bag Mixed veggies
  • Salt and pepper

Prepare pot pie

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Use 2 to 3 oz of olive oil in place in pan and cover. cook chicken till done, remove to cool and shred chicken
  3. Use 9x13 baking dish coated with butter and add shredded chicken
  4. Add veggies, cream of chicken, cream of potato, salt and pepper, ( for less thickness add a half of cup of water or chicken broth) Mix well
  5. CRUST: 1 cup self-rising flour 1 stick melted butter 1 cup of milk Mix together well
  6. Pour crust over dish and place in preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until golden brown
