Super Simple Cooking

There is nothing better than fixing a great tasting meal using just a few simple items in your cupboard, all it takes is a can of soup some poultry and your favorite pasta pit it all together and you have chicken Alfredo but if you want to make it a complete meal just add a rich vegetable like broccoli. Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo is a healthy meal made with lean fresh chicken breast and fresh broccoli florets, its really amazing what you can do with with a can of cream of mushroom soup and if you have 10 minutes of prep time and 20 minutes to cook you can create a dish that will have your family and friends asking for more.

Chicken & Broccoli Soup

1 8 oz package of linguine

1 cup of fresh broccoli florets

1 pound of skinless boneless chicken breast ( cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces )

1 10 oz can of condense cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup of milk

1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper

Prepare linguine according to the package directions in a 3 quart sauce pan. Add broccoli during the last four minutes of cooking time. ( drain the linguine and broccoli in a colander )

Heat butter in a 10 inch skillet over medium heat, add chicken and cook until well browned stirring often. Stir soup, cheese, milk. black pepper and linguine mixture into the skillet, cook until mixture is hot and bubbling, serve with the additional Parmesan cheese.

This is truly a crowd pleaser you will find yourself making over again and again.
