Chop Keeper: Cool Multi-Purpose Kitchen Tool

Updated on November 8, 2011

So, what is a Chop Keeper? That’s exactly what I wondered when Argee Corporation sent me one of these gadgets to try. It didn’t take me long to figure out what the Chop Keeper is all about and to decide that it’s something I really need in my kitchen. Intrigued? Find out more.

About Chop Keeper

At first glance Chop Keeper looks kind of like a cutting board. As a matter of fact, you can use it as a chopping board – but it’s really much more than that.

There are three specific features that make Chop Keeper unique.

  1. Flexible Material: The material that the chop keeper is made from is flexible. Why does that matter? Think about all the times you’ve tried to scrape scraps or crumbs from your traditional chopping board into the trash can and ended up making a mess on the floor. With Chop Keeper, that’s not a problem anymore. You can simply bend the edges of the tray inward so that the bottom of the Chop Keeper forms a narrow funnel opening that you can empty directly into the trash (or compost bin) without sending debris everywhere.
  2. Raised Edges: When you use a traditional cutting board, crumbs and pieces of whatever food items you are working with can easily slide off edge and land on your countertop, leaving behind a nasty mess for you to deal with later. That is non-issue with the Chop Keeper, because the edge is raised half an inch all the way around. The raised edges form a barrier to keep errant items from sliding off the work surface.
  3. Multipurpose Functionality: The Chop Keeper can be used for more than just a cutting board. Its large size (18 inches x 13 inches) makes it useful for many purposes. also functions as a lightweight tray that can be used for a variety of tasks, including serving, crafting and as a work surface for many types of household projects. It can even serve a placement for children.

Ready to Try a Chop Keeper for Yourself?

If you like the idea of a multipurpose kitchen tool that can help you save time in the kitchen and make other household tasks go smoothly and easily, you just might find a set of Chop Keepers to be quite useful. Chop Keepers are a great addition to just about any household and they make great gifts.

This one really works. Even my husband - who tends to be very skeptical about the gadgets and devices I manage to dig up thinks this one is a "keeper".

Just the other day I was cleaning a wooden cutting-board and thinking of how nice it would be to have something more carefully-crafted for multiple-uses in the kitchen... Although I'd like to have gotten more detailed information, you've definitely given me something to look further into!
