Cinnamon Roasted Pecans

Updated on March 13, 2011

Cinnamon Roasted Pecans

Cinnamon roasted pecans are a wonderful treat! Easy to make and keep on hand as snacks or gifts. They can be popped in a candy dish for guests or in a simple glass jar with a ribbon for a quick thank you or teacher's gift.

While mixing and roasting your house will be filled with the wonderful smell of warm cinnamon and roasting nuts. Roasted in the oven they are easy to make for even a novice cook.

Be sure to select plump and uniformly colored pecans to ensure the freshest taste. Pecan halves work best for snacks and gifts. Pecan pieces are wonderful to use when making cinnamon roasted pecans for salad toppings or when jazzing up a simple cake or batch of cookies.
