My Favorite Cookies

My mom made these cookies for me at Christmas almost every year - she missed last year :(

But they were always my favorite. I hope you like them too. I did the best I could with the instructions considering it's only 3 lines on an index card.

Cook time: 12 min
Ready in: 27 min
Yields: 3 1/2 dozen

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips

Let's Make Some Cookies!!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda and set aside.
  3. Mix butter, sugar, egg and vanilla extract together.
  4. Combine dry mixture and wet mixture thoroughly.
  5. Add chocolate chips and rice krispies and mix.
  6. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes or until done to your liking.

These are not diet cookies :)
