Crystal Light Pure: Local Calorie Refreshment with No Artificial Sweeteners

Updated on April 27, 2011

Are you always on the lookout for low-calorie flavored beverage options that don’t include artificial sweeteners? If so, you’re going to be really excited to discover Crystal Light® Pure. This tasty beverage flavoring packet provides a convenient way to turn a bottle or glass of plain water into a fruity beverage that is low in calories and doesn’t contain unhealthful artificial ingredients.

What is Crystal Light Pure?

Crystal Light Pure provides those who want to add delicious fruity flavor to water without adding unnecessary calories or chemicals in the process, while also avoiding artificial preservatives, flavoring agents, caffeine and gluten.

Rather than being sweetened with some type of artificial sweetener that adds unpronounceable chemicals to your beverages, Crystal Light Pure gets its sweetness from a combination of real sugar and Truvia, an all-natural sweetener that is made from the leaves of Stevia plants. Each serving has only 15 calories and four grams of carbohydrate, making it a perfect choice for health and diet-conscious consumers.

Using Crystal Light

Crystal Light Pure comes in single serving packets that couldn’t be easier to use. Simply pour empty a packet into a 16.9 ounce bottle of water, close the lid and shake. Alternately, you can flavor a glass of tap or filtered water simply by adding one packet for every two cups of water, then stirring or shaking until the crystals are fully dissolved.

In addition to being simple to use, Crystal Light Pure packets are very convenient. Consider keeping a supply on hand in your pantry for those occasions that you want to give your water a little kick. You can carry a few packets in your purse or briefcase so that you can enjoy flavored water when you are on the go or at your office. You can even carry them along on camping trips if you like. The setting where you can enjoy Crystal Light Pure are virtually limitless.

Flavor Options

No matter what your favorite fruit flavor is, chances are that there is a Crystal Light Pure that you’ll truly enjoy. The beverage flavoring comes in five varieties, including:

  • Grape
  • Lemonade
  • Mixed Berry
  • Strawberry Kiwi
  • Tropical Blend (my favorite)

If you enjoy working out or spending time outdoors, you may want to try the grape and strawberry kiwi varieties first, they both contain electrolytes to help you stay hydrated.

Finding Crystal Light Pure

Crystal Light Pure is available throughout the United States at grocery stores, mass merchandise retailers and other stores that carry beverage mixes in packages of seven packets. Check your favorite local store or online grocery retailer and stock up!

Note: Thanks to Crystal Light/Kraft Foods for providing me with product samples.

YEA! Glad you hubbed this information because most people do not seem to get the difference in real stuff and faked additives, chemicals, etc. My fav is lemonade but also like the grape. These 'tubes' are so handy like you said. I take them to work and drink all day...even using half a tube instead of the full dose. All are delicious, and you - and Crystal Light PURE - have my vote!
