DIY Southern Twisted Chicken Ranch Florentine

A creation inspired by my dear wife's dislike of traditional Florentine. I created this as a way to allow us both to enjoy a meal I have long loved. Sweet & tangy, creamy, and full of flavor, this dish will leave those partaking in its splendor sprawled out in a daze of contentment and satisfaction.

Consisting of basically Bow-tie Noodles, Spinach, Chicken and Sauce, this dish is simple to make with a small ingredients list that packs one hell of a big taste. This is a creation that must be experienced to appreciate fully. With the elegance of tradition and the sweet flavors of the south this dish is one to be remembered.

To start with you are going to need the following...

x1 Large flat pan or skillet

x1 Large Pot

x1 Strainer

x1 Basic Kitchen Utensils

x1 Cutting Board

Food Items:

x1 Bottle of Ranch

x1 Stick of Butter

x1 Bottle of grated or shredded Parmesan cheese

x1 Box of Bow-Tie Noodles

x1 bag of fresh or frozen spinach

x1 bag of frozen chicken breasts or strips

x1 bottle of Italian Dressing or Balsamic for a more intense flavor.

x1 salt shaker

Alright, so you now have your items in front of you, start by taking your pot and filling it about halfway up with water (more if needed ). Add about 2 cap fulls of olive oil to the water, and a few heavy handed shakes of salt. Move your pan to a burner and turn it up to around 7 or 8 until a boil is achieved then simple lower it down to about 5 or 6, add your Bow-Tie's at this point and move on to the sauce.

Take and toss about 1 tablespoon butter in the pan, along with a palm sized pool of Ranch, and about half that in Italian Dressing ( If using balsamic only use 1/4 as much.). Hit it with heat set to about 6 and mix in a few shakes of Parmesan cheese, just enough to thicken slightly.

While your sauce is heating up take our chicken and cut it into small strips or cubes as you see fit. Once finished add them to your sauce stirring lightly ever 30 seconds or so, the sauce is some what sensitive to setting. Once your chicken is done cooking ( check by simply cutting a piece in half.)add your spinach, I like to put quite a lot, but I was raised on quite a bit of Popeye as a child. Most prefer just a hand full or so. Your noodles should be nearing completion as well at this point. They can take a few minutes longer depending on your stove top, water used, thickness of pot, etc. If this is the case simply turn the heat to your sauce and chicken down to " warm " or 1 on your stove top until noodles finish, stirring ever few minutes.

Once your noddles are done place them in on a bowl or plate and simple take a serving spoon or none vented spatula and place your chicken and spinach sauce on top of the noodles, giving it a light stir and adding more as desired. Finish with a light sprinkling of Parmesan and your all done.

Take a step back and witness the masterpiece you have brought forth from places unknown ( The fridge and freezer.). Take extreme caution in eating this meal as it has been known to cause spontaneous convulsions of pleasure and euphoria which can cause quite a degree of social responsibly.

Dinner is served.
