Deep Fried Chicken Nibbles With A Lemon And Ginger Sauce

This really is a delicious recipe and does not take very long to prepare. To make this recipe you will need a Chicken Breast , Flour, 1/2 Lemon, a small piece of Ginger, Sugar and 1 Tablespoon of Corn Flour. I also use a Deep Fryer to deep fry the Chicken however you could just place some oil in a pot to deep fry it and I also use a blender to blend the sauce however you could do that by hand.

Cook Time

Prep time: 10 min
Cook time: 10 min

Yields: 1-2 people

  • 1 Chicken Breast
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Small Piece Of Ginger
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornflour
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • Flour

Chicken Nibbles With A Ginger Sauce Instructions

  1. The first thing you want to do is cut your chicken into small bite sized pieces.
  2. The next thing to do is place a little flour in a small bowl and coat your chicken pieces well in flour ready to be deep fried.
  3. Once you have done this you can set your chicken pieces aside to be deep fried.. I like to prepare my sauce first and then deep fry the chicken while the sauce is heating up.
  4. To prepare the sauce I place 1 small piece of ginger(about 1cm by 1cm) In a blender along with 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of corn flour, 1 cup of water, the juice from 1/2 a lemon. Give the mixture a good blend until all of the ingredients are combined well.
  5. Once you have done this place your sauce in a small sauce pan and bring to the boil stirring regularly. Once the sauce begins to boil turn it down to simmer.
  6. You also want to start deep frying your chicken at the same time as you heat your sauce. I like to deep fry my chicken at 180 degrees Celsius. At this heat the chicken nibbles should be ready within a couple of minutes.
  7. Once you have finished deep frying your chicken place them on a plate and then cover them with the lemon and ginger sauce. And they are ready to go..

Thanks for checking out my recipe. Hopefully you enjoy it and prepare it yourself. I have also left a video below of the recipe so don't forget to check that out..
