Smoothie Recipe with Frozen Fruit
This fruit smoothie recipe shows you how to make a smoothie with frozen fruit. The reason I include frozen fruit in my smoothie recipe is to make the recipe quicker to prepare and also because frozen fruit can be stored longer than fresh fruit. If you replace the frozen fruit with fresh fruit then you have a fresh fruit smoothie but it will likely taste just as good. I'll set out the fruit smoothie recipe below but I should just point out here that the only frozen fruit I use are frozen berries. The rest I use fresh as you will see as we go through the fruit smoothie recipe. So let's take a look at how to make a fruit smoothie and the ingredients needed for this fruit smoothie recipe.

Variations on this Fruit Smoothie Recipe
This fruit smoothie recipe tastes great but it's very easy to alter it depending on what ingredients you have in your kitchen. Or it might just be that you fancy a yoghurt fruit smoothie in which case you would reduce the amount of apple juice specified in this fruit smoothie recipe and replace with yoghurt. It might be that you don't like the idea of making your fruit smoothie with frozen fruit. If that's the case simply substitute the frozen mixed berries for fresh ones but the fruit smoothie recipe is essentially the same.

Healthy Fruit Smoothie Recipe
The fruit smoothie recipe that I've provided in this hub gives the nutrition set out in the table. However, if you don't use fresh squeezed apple juice then the nutritional value will decrease. The fresh squeezed apple juice is an important healthy element to this fruit smoothie recipe. If you use apple juice from concentrate you are reducing the healthy value of the fruit smoothie.
