If your looking for great hamburger recipes then here is one of the best ground beef recipes you will ever read and its oh so easy to make this delicious hamburger pie recipe. Yes this really is a easy hamburger recipe and if you combine it with a green salad and garlic bread you will have a delicious meal that everyone will love. And if you cook with ground beef you will save money.

For your Hamburger Pie Recipe you will need.

1. One Pound Of Ground Beef Fried Brown And Well Drained.

2. One Envelope Lipton's Onion Soup Mix.

3. Two Large Eggs.

4. One Half Cup Mayonnaise.

5. One Fourth Cup Heavy Cream.

6. Eight Ounces Shredded Cheddar Cheese.

7. One Teaspoon Ground Cayenne Pepper.

8. One Teaspoon Ground Sea Salt.

9. One Teaspoon Minced Fresh Garlic.

10. One Nine Inch Pie Crust In Tin Pie Pan.

You will want to start by browning your hamburger meat in a skillet and be sure to drain your hamburger meat well. Now combine everything but your cheese in a bowl and mix well. Beat your 2 eggs very well before you add the eggs to the bowl.

You will want to cut slits around the bottom of your pie shell with a knife. Now when you have all your ingredients mixed together well pour them into your pie shell and place your shredded cheddar cheese on top of your hamburger mixture. Press your cheese down a bit to make sure it melts down through your hamburger.

Now you will want to place your hamburger pie into a 350 degree preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes until the cheese is well melted and the pie is set. Once you remove your hamburger pie from the oven let it set for 15 minutes before you cut your hamburger pie up into slices and serve it.

crazyhorseghost -- what is a good replacement for the Sour Cream? Could a bit of butter in the mashed potatoes do it? David Russell

It is very delicious. I have added a layer of real mashed potatoes to the hamburger pie for a extra tasty treat and then put the cheese on top of that. From time to time I have also added roasted bell peppers.
