Authentic Thai Cuisine

Authentic Thai cuisine has to be one of the most flavorful, cultural foods on the planet. The uses of wide ranging spices and herbs can create such an array of dishes the mind boggles. Thai food over the last 10 years has become incredibly popular accross the globe and rightfully so. This dish is a simple Thai Chicken dish that incorporates many of the ingredients found in authentic cuisine. Its super easy to make, bursting with flavor and is firm favorite amongst guests. Enjoy.

Thai Chicken

Ingredients/Method..

For the Sauce:

1 Tbsp Thai Basil

1 Tsp chopped Garlic

1 Tbsp Fish Sauce

1 Tbsp Brown Sugar

3 Tbsp Soy Sauce

2 Tbsp White Vinegar

2 Tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce

Pepper

Mix Ingredient together and put aside.

4 Chicken Wings

4 Chicken Thighs

1 Cup Broccoli

1 Cup Carrots (julienned)

Preheat the oven to Full. Season the Chicken then Brown off in 2 tbsp of oil on high heat until the skin is nice and crisp. Remove the chicken from the pan and put in the oven, immediately turning the heat down to 375. With the frying pan still on high heat add the sauce and deglaze the pan, then return the sauce to a bowl. After 20-25 mins heat a wok on full heat in 3 tbsp of seasame oil and add the vegetables, stirring often until cooked but not to soft. Add a portion of the sauce for the last minute then remove. Remove the chicken from the oven and flash fry in the wok with more of the sauce. Plate and serve with sticky rice or Basmatti.
