Cook Time

Prep time: 10 min
Cook time: 10 min
Ready in: 20 min
Yields: 4 Dozen

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, (Use REAL butter- trust me on this!)
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1-package instant chocolate pudding, 1.34 oz box
  • I package chocolate chips
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding, 1.34 oz box
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix flour and baking soda. Combine butter, sugars, vanilla and pudding mix in a large bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture then chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tsp. on ungreased cookie sheet. (It helps to put dough in the fridge about 1 hour before baking).

I've never made cookies with pudding in them before, but your insistence on real butter has me trusting you! Though knowing how long, approximately, they should bake for would be nice. Pinning.

Hi Natashalh- They should bake for 8-10 minutes. Curious to hear how they turn out for you. Our family loves them.

This looks like a good recipe. I love chocolate chip cookies but I've never heard of them with pudding before. This seems really easy to make too, taking only 20 minutes. Your image of the chocolate chip cookies makes me want to go have some now.
