A donut franchise is one of the most profitable franchises around the world and in the Philippines. How to franchise Dunkin Donuts? How much will it cost to franchise Mister Donut? What about franchising Krispy Kreme? What about Go Nuts Donuts? Franchising any of the mentioned doughnuts stores is a sure win to profit and receive ROI sooner and higher more than what you’ve expected.

This hub is a response to some requests and questions about the costs to franchise Dunkin Donuts in the Philippines. To complete the request and answer the queries, I’ve included some other donuts franchises as a bonus for you business minded people. :) In here, you’ll learn about the details about franchising Dunkin Donuts, Mister Donut, Krispy Kreme and Go Nuts Donuts

So bring out all those yummy doughnuts and brew the coffee, let’s get started. ;)

Why Donut Franchise?

Unlike many other franchise opportunities out there, a donut franchise start up cost is very much cheaper than franchising other big business like a famous fast food franchise for example. It’s a low cost franchise. With a donut franchise, you can choose whether you want a kiosk, small doughnut house store or a big one almost like a resto. Operation is much easy and simple, too. You won’t be needing more staffs and employees to work for you. A doughnut store is a fast faced type, usually it operates a retail business than a order-to-cook type of fast food franchise. Another reason why it’s awesome to franchise a donut store is the fact that everyone loves doughnuts as everyone loves coffee. From kids to adult to seniors, everyone just can’t resist a mouthwatering doughnut.

The Best Donut Franchise in the Philippines

Dunkin Donuts Franchise

Dunkin Donuts is the most popular doughnut store in the world and that fact is a big factor why you should pick it from your franchise list, my business minded friend. At this date, there are over 700 Dunkin Donuts outlets in the whole Philippines so why not have one and add your own to the list. You’ll be smiling again after my next sentence I promise. Investment to franchise dunkin donuts starts at 200,000 pesos. Hmmm converted to US dollar, it’s about 4,650 USD in today’s exchange rate. Technically, in America, you’ve got to have $250,000 liquid assets and $500,000 net worth to open one. I guess DD is so cool and generous here heh. Actually, Golden Donuts, Inc. is the one who executes Dunkin Donuts franchises here so all else is quite smooth with the finance stability thing. All you have to do is to have a contract with them and charran, you have the franchise! Like many other franchising operations, Dunkin Donuts assure you to receive the warmest support team in your operation and development plans. Don’t forget to give me a dunkin doughnut treat! :) Start your Dunkin Donut franchise here.

Mister Donut Franchise

Once upon a time, there were two brothers-in-law who started each their own doughnut stores. One started Dunkin Donuts, the other one built Mister Donut. It’s a fact I never knew until I made this hub. Ok so, Mister Donut is the second largest donut chain store here in the Philippines. Well, actually in the whole Asia Pacific. Mister Donut is one of the fastest-growing retail and fast food chain franchises in here. It has over 10,000 stores worldwide. Yup, that big. The Ramcar Group of Companies, a multinational company in the country and the biggest battery manufacturer in Southeast Asia, is the one who executes Mister Donuts operation here. they acquired the master franchise of Mister Donut on 1995, since then Mister Donut has been tying up with popular fast food chains in Asia for its aggressive operation approach. Anywayz, the intial investment to franchise Mister Donut is 220,000 pesos depending on the location and store concept, be it a dine in restaurant, take out shop and cart or booth type. The franchise fee is renewable after four years. Minimum estimated investment is 1,500,000 - 2,000,000 pesos inclusive of the franchise fee is required for a dine in resto. The simple data for franchise fees are listed below. As expected, you will have all the support in the operation of your franchise. So, franchise Mister Donut here.

Dine in Shop:

  • Minimum floor area requirement: 25 sqm
  • Franchise fee of 220,000 for four years term (Renewable)
  • Minimum estimated investment: 1,500,000 - 2,000,000 inclusive of the franchise fee
  • Located in malls and strategic locations

Take out Shop:

  • Minimum floor area requirement: 4-9 sqm
  • Franchise fee of 220,000 for four years term (Renewable)
  • Minimum estimated investment: 700,000 inclusive of the franchise fee
  • Used for outdoor spaces

Cart or Booth Type:

  • Minimum floor area requirement: 4-9 sqm
  • Franchise fee of 220,000 for four years term (Renewable)
  • Minimum estimated investment: 500,000 inclusive of the franchise fee
  • Used for indoor spaces

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Franchise

Krispy Kreme doughnuts are my favorite. Sorry dunkin and mister..I’ll always say, Krispy Kreme could make you forget about your broken heart. Seriously, these yummy doughnuts are one of the few things you could eat when you’re heart broken. Like the big Shaquille, Krispy Kreme is moi weakness. This famous doughnut chain has just opened its franchise recently in the Philippines. Max’s a renowned old restaurant in the country has dealt a partnership with Krispy Kreme to operate franchises here in the Philippines for 30 stores over the next five years. Due to the fresh deal, Max’s hasn’t released details yet to offer Krispy Kreme franchises outside their huge company. I’ll keep you posted about the official details regarding this. The deal is still so fresh and Max’s is still so overwhelmed with Krispy Kreme’s sales. It’s like there’s no tomorrow from the pile of people lining up to buy Krispy Kreme in malls my dear glazed business minded friend, have you seen it? LOL So, stay tuned ok. :) If you wanna visit their website, it’s here.

Go Nuts Donuts Franchise

I love Go Nuts Donuts doughnuts, too. Go Nuts Donuts are my fancy before Krispy Kreme came along. LOL My fave, their pastillas de leche and amazing glaze. I don’t care if I’d get diabetes or whatever. Their doughnuts are really mouthwatering and addicting.

Ok so making this hub, I discovered something. Who could have guessed, there’s Go Nuts Donuts now because the owner got denied by a Krispy Kreme franchise. Yup, that’s how Go Nuts came into the picture. “The Trillana-De Ocampo clans engaged in a donut business and attempted to have a franchise of the American-based Krispy Kreme. They, however, were denied. Thus, they decided put up their own. After 18 months of planning, Go Nuts Donuts was created.” That’s according to my dear wiki. From this rise, Go Nuts Donuts was quoted as “The Manny Pacquiao of the Doughnut World” by Lisa Gokongwei of the Robinsons Group. Interesting history just like a phoenix…

Go Nuts Donuts also serves pizza aside from their delirium doughnuts and coffee drinks. Go Nuts Donuts has opened its outlets in Kuwait and plans to open more in Malaysia, China and Australia.

Franchises are available for two types: cart and retail store. For cart type, an ideal of 4 sqm cart. Franchise costs from 800,000 including cart, equipment and beginning inventory. The term of franchise is up to 4 years and it’s renewable. For a retail store, franchise costs from 2.5 million pesos to 3 million pesos depending on the size of the store and the location. It’s ideal for 30 to 50 sqm. Franchise contract is up to 5 years and renewable. Royalty fee is 8% on gross sales.

J Co Donuts Franchise Philippines

I added the hottest Donuts and Coffee chain in the country today - J Co Donuts and Coffee. Know more about J Co Donuts Franchise here.

Geeezz did I tell you the effect of making this hub? I’m craving for Krispy Kreme and Go Nuts donuts now! I have to bounce out now and grab a doughnut…See you again!

Like a minute ago I was in Glorietta suddenly I came out of Greenbelt. LOL All I know they both have G-5. :) Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is in G-4 BTW.

No, I didn't know. She never told me that part LMAO Is she reading this? LOL

Yeah you and Cathy should be honeymooning in Bora. Your boss is so cool. He might open an office here ;) That would be cool.

Gaining weight is hard for me, too and I just love it. :) But seems I gain a little this week coz of this donuts hub LOL I love moi doughnuts :) Cheers! oOoO Those are donuts :)

Hey, Fehl! Ayala is a fantastic area for eating and um...banking. And some shopping there somewhere too. Makati and Greenbelts 1,2,3, and a 4 too I think. (Someone said there's a 5 now, that right?)

Hehehehehe! Curling hair is her thing! Didn't ya know! I love her in moi hair! LOL! Oh, I am so cheeky today! Yes, a good spanking on your krispy kremes for that. LOL! You are so damn funny! Heh!

Oh one week wouldn't be enough! I'd need to bring Cathy to Bora too, maybe a few other places too! ;) So many islands! I will ask my boss could he open an office over here. :D Then I could live there fulltime, and close by the beach. LOL!

Gaining weight is hard for me, no tubbies in my wee family, I'm afraid. But I could lose pounds easy. Yeah, the history of Donuts there is nuts! Loved it! Oh, can I critique more foodies? Cheers! :D XOXO

Hi Georgie! Thanks for the lovely comment. Are you a Filipino?

Hello lpeoney! Krispy Kreme is the best doughnut brand to me. Go Nuts Donuts started opening in the Philippines and will eventually open to some countries outside Asia so stay tuned ;) Thank you.

Hi Justom! Gotta try those from your place. ;) Sounds so yummy and it made me hungry

Hi Cassy! The Ayala Avenue is one of the nicest places in Makati. Wow, your memory is so great moi friend. Gotta try those curly locks. I asked Cathy to style moi hair. Well, she maybe good at curling than straightening whaddaya think? LMAO She must spank me now dear donuts! hahaha

Nice idea moi friend. I'd let you have one week feast of our yummy foods. Eat all you can. Sky's the limit :) Gain weight? No worries, no additional charge for that on the plane LMAO

Yup, the Dunkin Donuts and Mister Donut history, I was surprised. And the Go Nuts Donuts and Krispy Kreme, surprisingly all four are interconnected heh :)What's wrong with your food thing? You're perfect for a food critique :) Cheers!

The Krispy Kreme I remember eating in was in Ayala Avenue at the end near the General Post Office, the staff were very nice, and we had a great time - I remember. Heh! Fehl, I haven't been to a whole lot of places yet. But many are on moi list! LOL! Curl your hair! Hehehehe! That is so funny! I am LMAO! Fehl, you look great, for pete's sake! You're a dish! Oh dear, food analogy - sorry! That's your food hub doing that. LOL!

Dang, why don't we just go there for a week, and meet up, and order boxes of everything, gain like three stone body weight from eating everything! RLMAO!

I did like the Dunkin Donuts history thing here too. Nice info in this very tasty hub! (Sorry, I keep doing that food thing!) :) XOXOX
