Dutch Oven Cooking

With the holiday coming and there is so much to do like many of us you do not have so much time to send in the kitchen, that's when you go and grab your kitchen appliances and the one that I grab is the dutch oven.

The dutch oven to me is very easy to use because you can use it the top of the stove or inside of your oven then straight to the table, and to be honest using the dutch oven is a year around appliance that I use even putting it on the grill or on a open pit.

Today I want to share a recipe that is easy and so super simple once you add all of the ingredients you can walk away and finish doing what your doing and then come back and serve a great tasting meal.

In the dutch oven were going to make some Teriyaki Chicken in the dutch oven using a few simple ingredients you can be on the way to a great tasting meal that will please your family and friends.

Dutch Oven Teryiaki Chicken

Ingredients

3 pounds of frozen boneless skinless chicken thighs

1 jar of teriyaki sauce (with sesame seed and ginger in it)

1 can of pineapple chunks (packed in natural juices)

Methods

Using your stove top place all of the ingredients into the dutch oven in the order that listed move it around a little then place the lid on top. Set the stove on medium heat and cook or 1 to 1 1/2 hours stirring every 20 minutes until done.

If you keep the stove on a medium low setting it will cook really well and I also suggest that you do not add any water and if you want to thicken it just add a little corn starch ...This is something that would go really well over rice......enjoy.
