EPCOT: Drinking Around the World

Updated on April 14, 2016

Mexico

In my opinion, starting in Mexico is the way to go; you know the saying, “liquor before beer, you’re in the clear.” My favorite drink here would have to be the frozen strawberry margarita. It’s perfectly refreshing on those hot Florida days (also, the showcase opens at 11 am, so it’s pretty hot). If you’re not into strawberries they also offer lime and mango flavors. There is also this little bar inside the Mexican pavilion called La Cava de Tequila where you can get any tequila drink you desire.

China

The China pavilion has to be my favorite, it is just so beautiful. Don’t be deceived by the Joy of Tea food cart, they sell more than just tea. My favorite alcoholic drink from here would have to be the Peach Snap! (actually spelled with the exclamation point). This is another frozen beverage, and, if you like peach schnapps, you’ll love this drink.

Germany

This is the pavilion where the beers start. This next drink has a very difficult name, it’s called Schöfferhofer Pink Grapefruit Hefeweizen, but I just call it the grapefruit beer. This drink is very citrusy and delicious. I’m not a big beer drinker, so if you're like me you might enjoy this.

Italy

In Italy, there wasn’t really anything that caught my eye, so I wound up getting my wine of choice, moscato. They do offer a red wine sangria, but I’m not a fan of red wine, however, everyone I’ve asked really enjoyed the sangria. There is also a wine cellar and a bar at this pavilion that I would suggest you check out before ordering anything.

The American Adventure

Here you’ll find your typical American brews such as Sam Adam’s. I ordered an Angry Orchard because I love hard ciders. Here you can also get funnel cake with ice cream on top, incase you’re a little hungry.

France

For this pavilion, I’m going back to the slushes. France offers a Grey Goose Orange Slush and Grey Goose Citron Lemonade Slush, both of which I recommend. France also has a nice bakery at the back of the pavilion that has amazing turkey club sandwiches.
